Accidental Video
[The feed starts with a low angled view of what appears to be a Pokémon coming out of a pokéball. A red flash of light emits from the ball as a Sneasel appears. A small noise of surprise escapes the person presumably holding the Pokégear. A small muffled What--? is heard next.]
What kind of demon are you?
[The Sneasel walks closer to the camera and seems to point in the direction of the camera. There is a second in which nothing happens, but then the angle changes as the device is raised to show the person holding it. The shinobi looks down, away from the camera, as though questioning the strange creature. He then looks into the device and sees his own image reflecting back at him. It reminded him of how his fights at the Dark Tournament had been project for the audience to see. Perhaps this was the same idea. If that was the case, there might be someone with information.
He looks back squarely at the camera.]
I’m told that these creatures are “Pokémon”. If anyone is willing to share more information on them, or on this area, please let me know.
[This was all so disorienting that he just abruptly cuts the feed, not knowing who was even out there—friend or foe.]

Action
But when he comes out of the house and sees a familiar figure making a resigned beeline for the trees, he's after him on foot in an instant. All of his confusion and frustration evaporates easily at the promise of not just a friend, but his best and dearest. Sure, it sucked not being able to fly to him, but that was still okay because hey, at least they were both here.]
TOY! There ye are! I was thinkin' I might not be seein' ye round here, anyhow, and that'd have been a real shame, it would, not knowin' if ye were doin' okay back on Hangin' Neck! You have any idea where we are? Or what these animal thingers are what're followin' us around all like they're expecting us t'take care o' them?
Action
Jin?
[He stopped in his tracks and Sneasel, about 3 steps ahead of him, stopped to see why Touya had stopped.]
I have no idea. It seems like we're still in Human World, though.
I'm not sure what's going on but...I can't seem to feel my energy at all.
Action
[Jin learned the hard way that he had to stop his own momentum now, and pulled up just short of crashing into Touya. The Chatot following patiently behind him took up a perch on his shoulder, preening its wing feathers idly.]
Aye, I know what ye mean. I can feel the wind 'round here clear as anything, but it won't answer me when I be tryin' t' talk ta it. Lil Hanebanashi here ain't much help neither, but he seems friendly enough, anyway.
Action
I wasn't expecting you to be here as well.
[Though he was glad for it. In a place so unfamiliar and without his energy, he would rather have an ally at his side, Jin most of all. If he had to choose anyone in the all three worlds to have with him, it would be the Wind Master.]
You're not injured anymore either.
Who did this and how...? [Because to him, people suddenly don't wake up without their powers. Especially over-1000-year-old shinobi.
He turned to the Sneasel that came up to stand slightly behind the Ice Master, eyeing up both the chatot and Jin.]
"Hanebanashi"? [He had absolutely no idea if they had names or not.]
Action
Aye, and I wasn't expectin' ye, neither! But boy am I glad t'see ye!
[His ears twitched a little, happily at seeing his little buddy not injured.]
Ye look better'n ye did! All yer blood inside ye now and everything? 'S one good thing t'come outta this, I s'pose, is bein' all up an' about like we didn' jes' get the shit kicked outta us.
Dunno how they did it, but 'm sure that it wasn't that lady callin' herself me mam.
[He and the Chatot both notice the Sneasel. The Chatot pipes up, in a perfect mimic of Jin's voice:]
"Hanebanashi!"
[And Jin laughs.]
I gave him that name, on account o' how he can talk like I can! This'n yers, Toy?
Re: Action
He was a little resentful about being reminded of getting "the shit kicked outta him". It had been nagging him since he woke up in this place.]
I suppose so. I feel fine.
[Sneasel put down both of her claws that she had had slightly raised in case she needed them and stepped forward to stand even with Touya.]
Interesting...I haven't heard mine talk like that yet. [He supposed she was "his". He wasn't sure how else to address it.
He merely nodded.]

There's no purpose other than sport?
[You're talking to an assassin. He just sees no point in unnecessary confrontation.]

video;
I think they're just animals. ...Strange ones, admittedly, but..I haven't seen any of the animals I'd normally see at home yet, have you?
video;
Are you human?
video;
Um. Yes? Are you...not?
[ what ]
video;
I asked you that because our "animals" may be slightly different than yours.
However, these "pokémon" are still unfamiliar to me.
video;
[ Well, she...has never met a demon, until just now. This is new. Still, there...doesn't seem to be any reason to be upset about it? ]
Then they're unfamiliar to both a human and a demon, so I think it's safe to say they're not, um, demons? Just the creatures from this world. I'm afraid I don't know anything beyond what the guides said, and a few personal observations.

Hey, Touya! Long time no see.
[SURPRISED OR NOT, Yusuke's grinning when he offers this greeting, and quite broadly, at that. He and Touya hadn't really interacted much during the tournament, nor had they formed an Immediate Bromance like he and Jin had, but it's still a huge relief to see more people from home showing up here, especially other fighters. NOW THEY CAN BE POWER-LESS AND MISERABLE TOGETHER. Heck yeah, solidarity.]
video;
He nodded towards the
as far as he knowshuman. He's a bit put off by how friendly he seems. His voice is neutral if not a bit cold--he did just get done having his dreams shattered by this guy's team.]Urameshi.
video;
How's it going? I take it you just got here.
[He obviously has, but that statement was intended more as an attempt at small talk than anything else. Yusuke will segue into the inevitable long-winded exposition part of this discussion eventually, but for now, YO MAN WASSUP MAN WE'RE TOTALLY NOT FROM DIFFERENT TIMES ARE WE MAN? You know, after what happened - or what is happening, rather - with Botan, the possibility of Touya not being from the same time as he is should have crossed his mind by now, but, ah, alas, he's still defaulting to the assumption that everyone who comes here from home is... well, from home as he knows it to be right now. Well done, Yusuke.]
video;
[He continues in the same tone, he too unfazed by Yuusuke's chumminess.
He however had absolutely no idea about any kind of timeline anything. It was almost salt in the wound that Urameshi was being so non-chalant;not realizing just what he had done to Touya's spirit not 6 hours ago.]
video; touya babe :c
What's up? Your rabbit thing bite you in the ass?
[:I Yusuke, that is so not the tactful thing to say to someone whom you suspect might be upset with you for some reason. To be fair, dude's only trying to defuse the tension by making what he thinks is a funny joke, but... still. Someone get this guy a better sense of timing!]
video; he's a booger, sorry Yuusuke bb
video; it's coo', yusuke will just booger back at him
video; 'booger' is yuusuke's middle name lmf
video; he is the booger champion.

[So here's Harry, a rather generic-looking dude donning a cowboy hat. He's seated in shade, back against a tree, and he was about to offer Touya an explanation, but a certain trouble-making Emolga of his just ran over and snatched the hat right off his head.]
Damn it, Franklin!
[And down goes the Gear.
Hope you like the way those leaves look, Touya, because that's all you're going to see for a few minutes while Harry provides some nice background noise.
(And by that I mean yelling.)]
video;
He goes on to answer/talk to other people and then comes back to wait and see if he can get any kind of useful answer from this guy.]
video;
Harry's still preoccupied, though now that Touya's paying attention to the screen, he'll get to see a quick glimpse of the top of Harry's head, where Franklin the Emolga is perched.
Chewing on his hair.]
